RSS

The Cleveland Browns offer RSS feeds of the top news stories and multimedia. These are the same stories we post on our home page and the ones we consider the most important.

What is an RSS Feed?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, or Rich Site Summary, depending on who you ask. It allows your computer to go out and find the information you’re interested in, rather than signing up on an email list, risking misuse of your email address.

Adding RSS Feeds to an RSS aggregator also allows you to consolidate your news feeds into a single source. It’s similar to receiving a newspaper personalized to your interests.

How do I subscribe to this news feed?

Just add the following link to your RSS aggregator (news reader):
http://www6.clevelandbrowns.com/rss.xml

If you don’t have RSS software, some commonly used news readers are

Feed Demon and NewsGator for Windows
NetNewsWire and Shrook for Macs, and
Google Reader and Bloglines.com for browser-based readers.
